The Meaning of Life - According to Me (The Thoughts of armChairman Dave) Most people are happy just to live life. Some feel the need to analyse it. I'm one of them. The buttons below link to some of my musings, just in case anyone's interested. Existence Consciousness Identity Free Will The Purpose of Life The Paranormal The majority of humans believe that most of existence occurs after death and that the life after death can be very pleasant or extremely awful depending on what we believe and/or do in this life. If this is true, then living our earthly life the right way is of supreme importance. With a rationale along the lines of Pascal's Wager, I committed to being a Christian and have since spent many years learning the ins and outs of the religion and doing things that might help me develop the required faith. However, that faith has eluded me, maybe because the Bible says that faith is a gift from God, not something we can conjure up ourselves, or maybe because I just think too much.
